Greg Ring

As Senior Creative Director, Greg manages and maintains the visual look and voice of brands across many categories. He manages art directors, graphic designers, production artist, and works with writers, developers and UX designers to develop and maintain award-winning creative and results for our clients. “I’m most passionate about solving big problems brands have through innovative thinking and quick decision making. ‘Creative’ is just one way we do that but implementing and managing the process to see impactful results for our clients is the most rewarding aspect of my job” says Greg.

After graduating from the University of Minnesota with his BFA, and University of North Texas with a degree in Communication Design, Greg began his design career in Dallas. Speaking about his experience, Greg remarks “I’ve worked on both B2B and B2C brands like Southwest Airlines, Dr Pepper, Metro by T-Mobile, Compass Healthcare, Adams Golf, LegalShield, and American National Bank of Texas. I have also worked on numerous restaurant brands such as Fogo De Chao, Cheddar’s, Dave & Buster’s, Boston’s Pizza, Pollo Tropical, Nation’s Giant Hamburgers and Taco Cabana. These initiatives include creating brand look and feel, creating Point of Purchase for numerous promotions, menu design, developing consistent photography styles and art directing and managing photoshoots as well as concepting, storyboarding and creative directing hundreds of broadcast spots.” In regards to his time spent at Imaginuity, Greg says “Imaginuity has a diverse and talented group of individual who consistently work together to solve problems. Even though I’ve been in the business for almost 30 years I am always learning something new from this group of people.”

Outside of the office, Greg enjoys sports like playing pick-up basketball, hiking or golf. He and his wife and have 3 kids that are always top of mind. Much of their weekends are basketball, soccer and volleyball games.

Career Advice…

Always say yes. If you are someone who can be counted on to get stuff done you will always have value to an agency. There are always opportunities to stand out but you have to raise your hand when there is work. And just because you’re young doesn’t mean that you should shut up and listen. Speak up! Many time the value you have to the agency or a situation IS your age.
