John Lee
As the head of Strategy at Imaginuity, John works with clients to determine the unique value and differentiators they provide to stakeholders, whether it be customers, employees, or partners. He develops relevant and personable brand positioning and strategies that support current business and future aspirations. “I’m interested in understanding the unique value that brands provide to the marketplace and creative ways to roll up that value into a differentiated position and integrated customer experiences,” says John. “For me, it’s important to follow technology and societal trends and determine how a brand can best position itself to take advantage of those trends. Important customer insights, motivations, and journeys are uncovered and used to make sure that client positioning addresses customer wants and needs.”
After graduating from the University of Alabama, John has spent 30+ years in advertising working on large consumer brands, including Home Depot, United Airlines, Cadillac, and Subaru of America. He also served as Director of Social Media for Cheddar’s Restaurants. When speaking about his time with Imaginuity, John says, “What I enjoy is the opportunity to do great work for clients. I also appreciate the collaborative, laid-back nature of the company and the flexible work environment.”
John balances his work life with exercise, getting out into nature, family adventures, and continuously exploring and learning.
